Devin~~Senior 2008

OK, so I KNOW I haven't posted any pictures here in quite a while, so I am quite SURE some have forgotten I exist, but it's me MOM. 

I had the pleasure of taking out one of my favorite girls the other day to do a few pictures. Devin is dynamic and we had a fun time. 

These are the country version of Devin. Be looking for the city version soon! 

Shain has gotten incredible hasn't he?? MOM here has some catching up to do!!

Best birthday ever!

Yeah, I had it today.

I thought it was going to be extra lame cause I had to work and all. But much to my surprise, It was about the best ever.

Last year I had the best ever, until this year.

Last year was really fun. David grilled out, and his Denise made the best baked beans ever, and my Denise made Pelican cake for me!!! (haha, yeah Pelican cake....)

It was great. Im not the kind that likes to go out, or party or whatever for my birthday, I just use it as an excuse to spend another day close to the people I love.

But tonight was cool. I was so surprised this morning, when I got up and Scarlett Lillian had left me a facebook comment telling me happy birthday! It was great!

Then tonight at work David and Denise came in with Aaron, and sat at my table. I was so suprised. They brought me CUPCAKES!!!!! SEE!!!!

before I could get them home to take pictures of.

But that totally surprised me/made my night. Aaron was so sweet. He got so excited when they would go out to other peoples tables, and sing happy birthday. He just squealed!

Anyway, after we closed, me and my homegirl Shanay, decided to split a shrimp platter for my birthday meal, and while we were sittin at the table, Mr. Ray came over there and was like," What are you two doin? Your supposed to be working and ......" and while he was talking, all the girls started clapping, and screaming came over there, and Mr. Ray started smiling.... they had bought me a cake! I couldn't help it. I was sooo surprised, and I just smiled and smiled. They sang the birthday song to me, and all of them hugged me, it was soo cool!

I had a little piece of cake left......

oh yeah, It was a Superman cake!!
(but this was my favorite part of it)

Summer and Chad. love.

Ok, so I just finished up this semester at school, and I decided not to go back till after Christmas, because, well I'm just basically tired of it. Haha.

So no don't think I'm going to quit school and never go back, Pleeeeease. I've only been going 3 straight years. I'm kinda obligated to finish.

Anyway, that's what caused the delay. (stoopid school) haha.

But NOW I want you to meet Summer and Chad. Summer is Denise's good friend, and speaking of school, She just finished college. She is now a Teacher. I think that teaching is seriously one of the most rewarding careers, outside of wedding photography, haha. And Chad....one of the Coolest Cops around, was so much fun.

Honestly this couple is such a blessing. They are one of the FIRST couples in my book, and I'm so excited about their wedding. It's going to be so cool!

Everyone else. I got something for you too. I can't wait to show you the Carter's maternity session. They are honestly my greatest friends in the world, and to be chosen to do their maternity photos is a really great honor.

I just officially started my in-between-semester break!

Which means, some really awsome stuff comming up, before the end of the week, you will behold the most gorgeous Summer, and fearsome Chad, I can't wait to show you the rest of their awsome engagement session.

I also have a maternity session of my favorite people in the world. That will be stinking aw-aw-awsome!!!!!!!

Oh man, I had to do it.

Today I had the most fun EVER! I met the coolest couple in the world. Summer and Chad. We met up in Douglas today to do their Engagement Session, and we had so much fun.

So I usually wait till I have all the pictures done, and then post them all at one time, but I figured I would give you guys a little tease. These pics are sooo hot!!!! I can't wait to get them all done.

Oh! one more thing. Today was Chad's Birthday! So I did want to tell him one more time,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHAD!!!!!

Now, get out your oven mitts, cause these are too hot to handle!

Smok'n Pig. (I told you it was comming!)

I been talking about this place for awhile now. I was working at Cracker Smacker in LP, and I hated it so much. It was so aggrivating. I love my people there, don't get me wrong, but I don't miss the job.

So now that i'm working at the Smok'n Pig (yes, that's how they spell it....Don't ask me why.) I love it. But when I worked at CB, there was a manager that I loved. Mr. Ray. It's not a really big secret or anything, I think he's basically the greatest manager God created for the earth at this time in life. (Dominy your only second because I knew Mr. Ray first. And because You didn't play Santa Clause at the Christmas Party....haha) I remember when he first started at CB, I knew he was going to be someone really great to get to know, and he was.

Well, he got an offer to become General Manager of a new resturant in Valdosta, called the Smok'n Pig. And I had already made him the promise of following him if he ever left Cracker Barrel, and the first day they were reciveing applications, I went in. He was sitting across the room at a table, and his face lit up when I walked throught the door. It was soo funny. He waved me over to sit down, and then he just said," I knew you'd come by today. I just knew it."

But I will tell you, he has been one of the greatest people I've met. He's helped me with all kinds of things. If he ever knew I had a problem, he would always help me the best he could. One time I had a class project to do an Interview on a Manager and I got to choose the Questions myself. 20 of them, and I made them tough. I was really surprised that he answered every one of them, and not only that, some of the things he answered sticks with me and I rememeber them everyday. I just thank God for him every time I pray, cause he really has been a HUGE blessing in my life.

So, I am now doing some commercial work, getting some photos to put on the smok'n pig website, and After every one left Monday I was taking some pics and Mr. Ray was like," Let me see that thing, I want to take a picture."

So he took a picture of me. Woot.
