My "little" heart.

Well, the contest is over, and I won 3rd place.

I was quite happy with 3rd seeing as how some of the photographers we're seasoned and had been at this for quite a bit longer than I have been.

I was really thrilled about the whole ordeal though. It was alot of fun. I got like 6 photo shoots, and a wedding just from all the hype. AND..... a sweet custom made camera strap! (WOOhoo!)

Haha, I'll admit, I was jealous of the girl that won the $150 gift cert to Simply Canvas.

But now things are getting back to normal. (What is normal? I really don't know.)

I did decide to drop the Java class I was taking. Out of 3 years of school, I've never dropped a class, but I didn't have any bad feelings about dropping that one, haha. Idk how many of you know Java, but I don't and I really don't care nothing about learning it.

Dropping the class did open up a huge window of time for me to work on things for the business though, and that alone made it worth it. Things are looking up and hopefully I will be running like a pro very soon!

Well, I wanted to post some photos of my boy. I don't remember posting any of him since his birthday. (June) And he's getting so big, so fast. Me and David was talking this week, and he put Aaron on the phone, and he started crying because he thought I was stuck in the phone.

But yeah, I really love this kid. Every Sunday morning, as soon as I walk in he comes to me with his arms up wanting me to hold him, and he just hugs me and loves on me. Its sooo wonderful. He absolutely has a grip on my heart, and I'm going to spoil him as much as I possibly can.

Anyway, I pulled out my camera while we were playing the other day and got these.

He loves to clap and Praise the Lord!! Its soo cute!

Isn't he getting so big!!! He's actually grown some since then. I promise. But I pray for that little boy every day, cause I love him and his family so much. Im really glad God surrounded me with so many awsome people to love.

Great things are in store, and I can't wait to show you!!!!

I am so Blessed.

This past week I entered this contest, and I told myself, " Well, maybe I'll have a slight chance at winning this." I really didn't realize I would be up against such talented photographers. Every one in this contest was above par, and amazing. I mean that.

Now it's down to the final 3. I'm nervous. Im sweating, and all the while, I am still in shock. This has been one of the most amazing things I have ever been part of.

This week I realized that I am wrong. Wrong? Yeah. that was me.

I guess in light of working a full time job, having 20 hours of school a week, and trying to get my photography out there, I started to feel that the world is such a big place. No one knows me. I'll never have time to get out there and show my stuff to the world.

Boy was I wrong.

This week God has shown me how much he loves me.
This week my family has shown me how much they support me.
This week my friends have rallied around me and stayed glued to their computer screens sending out mass emails, and myspace messages and facebook comments.

This week, I realized, I am loved.

I don't feel the need to win anymore. I already have.

I won something more than a $1000 blog makeover.
I won something more than a day with Scarlett Lillian. (no offense, I do love her so much)

I am blessed beyond a shadow of a doubt, and I know this is the direction God has chosen for my life. He blessed me with an amazing talent. and I want to share that with the world.

I want to share that with you. And your family. when you get engaged , I want to be there. When you walk down the isle, I want to be there. When your's or your wife's stomach is swollen like a basketball. When God deliver's a miracle baby into your life. When you hold that little baby and your heart melts.

Yeah. I want to be there.

I want you to be able to remember that day, THIS day, for the rest of your life.

I just want you all to know that I love each and every one of you. There is no way I could repay you for the love you've shown me this week. I feel like the richest man in the world.

Ok, enought mushey stuff. haha.

I have been working on these for a week, and I have been telling you that I was going to have this session for sooo long now.

Well, it was well worth the wait.

Business Card Ideas.....

I been trying to work on some new business card ideas, and I could never get anything to really come together. I finally came up with a few that I really like, and now, with the new job that I got, im around alot of people, and sounds crazy, but I ran out saturday night. I normally carry a bunch in my wallet, and I ran slap out.

But let me know what you all think! (and yes, I am going to use both of them.)

So I know it took me four years to get these up, sorry guys. I've had to study for test and other stuff that I despise doing. BUT, I finally made it.

So, Eric and Ashley just happens to be my brother and NEW sis'n'law. Which is cool because me and Ash have been friends since well...kindergarten. Wow!!!! Thats awhile!

But I've always loved her, and for my bro... Well ..... you know... (hahahaha!) jk .

Anyway this wedding was CRAZY! I had to work my regular job all day that day and try not to get speeding ticket on the way to the campsite where it was. And it was in the WOODS!!! OK, when I say woods, I mean I ran over a rattle snake with both of my front tires on the way there. I'm surprised he didn't eat my whole car. But It was such a blast.
